Calling all Black Sheep, Cycle Breakers, Lineage Healers, Creatives, Changemakers and Holy Outsiders.
Imagine for a moment…
⚜ How it would feel deep in your bones to know exactly how to care for
yourself in the midst of grief and loss.
⚜ Finally being able to shed layers of shame and self-pathology
as you claim your unique path as a cycle breaker.
⚜ Releasing the sorrows of those who came before you, freeing yourself
from unconscious loyalty to suffering as a form of love.
⚜ Transforming your grief into beauty, magic and medicine that not only heals you,
but effortlessly brings healing to your lineage and the world around you.

The Phoenix Process is a compassionate, soul honoring approach to grief tending
that provides ancestral, spiritual and psychological support through
the transformative waters of grief.
As the cycle breakers, lineage healers and Holy Outsiders…
We have always felt different.
Held the shadows of grief no one else would name.
Felt deeply the suffering of others around us.
We carry not only our own grief, but that of our ancestors and the collective.
For us, grief isn’t just about what we have lost, but also what we came here to change.
Grief is a universal human experience that transforms the psyche,
heals consciousness and awakens us to the deeper meaning of our lives.
In a world that has forgotten the holy realms of grief, we are often left alone,
without the spiritual refuge and ancestral wisdom to nourish us.
Our ancestors did not grieve without spiritual support.
They took refuge in ritual, offered their sorrow to the land, sang mourning songs, turned their grief into prayers and held grieving as a sacred rite.
It was a part of spiritual practice.
Not separate from it.
Even with so many personal development tools and practices at our disposal,
we have lost our connection to the old ways of grieving; ways that root us
into timeless wisdom of nature and those who came before us.
Grief is not linear in its nature; it is an evolutionary journey through the spiral of life.
Our ancestors knew the ways of honoring loss as an initiation;
a moment of death and rebirth.
They laid stones on the earth, offered tears to wild flowing waters, sang songs by the fire.
They took refuge and knew how to care for themselves during these times
of individuation and change.
We come from ancestors who were also lineage healers, visionaries,
changemakers and outsiders; their magic lives in our bones.
This is part of what we came here to remember and re-awaken in this world.

While our modern, personal psychology has become more complex,
our basic soul needs for these wisdom teachings in times of grief has not.
This is what has been missing for so many of us.
The Phoenix embodies this ancestral wisdom in its mythological journey of regeneration.
In older versions of this myth passed down through ancestral oral traditions, the Phoenix gathers its tears, which had turned into myrrh, along with the ashes of its old self and its heart prayers, and shapes it all into an egg, which represents renewal.
It places this egg on the alter of the Sun God as an offering for its new life.
This is a grief ritual encoded in ancient myth.
In the same way, we too are able to weave prayers from the ashes and tears of our losses that will seed the emergence of our next expression of life.
For the Holy Outsider, these prayers are the medicine for our lives,
our ancestors and those who will follow.
Your courage to honor and tend to what could not be grieved breaks the ancestral
patterns, releases unconscious vows to remain loyal to suffering and
opens the way for the flourishing of your essential nature.
The Phoenix Process is rooted in a map of psychological, spiritual and ancestral transformation that the psyche undergoes during grief and loss.
This is a soul level, generative way to process grief.
A method.
A remembrance.
A way back to ourselves.
When we can learn to see grief not as something that needs to be healed or a problem that needs to be solved, we can cultivate a rooted, authentic quality of self-love and compassion that will carry us through anything.
Our ancestors knew that grief was holy and their practices slipped away for
reasons we may only now begin to understand.
While grief varies in intensity based on our losses, there IS a map...
A light in the midst of the darkness, that reminds us that we, like the Phoenix, will rise carried by the prayers in our hearts and the wisdom of our ancestors.
Let us transform these earthly wounds into something beautiful.

"Having done all the work with grief that I have done, I have had many opportunities to find ways to approach and be with grief as it has moved in my life in the last four years. The Phoenix process, feels the most alive and enlivening process that I have been able to experience. It feels like a dance of expansion and contraction that gives me energy. connection and possibility without strain or effort."

"The Phoenix Process has been so beautiful. In so many ways this process has answered a prayer I didn't know I had made, yet I did. I have spent many years afraid of my grief, running from my grief, then not knowing how to approach my grief. The process of tending to my grief like I would an infant, as well as working with the spiral, has felt like a homecoming. It has felt so natural. This process has been such medicine."

"My frozen heart has melted. I offered up a ritual for something that has been very painful, that I lived with for many, many years. The feeling I feel now, I haven't felt in a long time." K.W., United Kingdom
⚜
⚜
"I walk away with so much more awareness of my grief, as well as the depths that are available to me in terms of healing and self-compassion. I have more of a sense of when I am feeling grief in my life, but it feels liberating because now I know how to care for my heart and that there is nothing wrong with me. This has raised so much awareness for me and practices I can use that feel more empowering." J.F., France
