Medusa was never the monster she's been portrayed to be.

She was an oracle, a sovereign woman and a powerful priestess.

The father wound is the operating background of her mythology.

A wound that penetrates every character of Medusa's story.

A myth where she is cut off from the possibility of redemption and used as a weapon of the harmful patriarch.

This is a mythology that lives and pulses in our bones and collective psyche.

The blood and bones of Medusa's legacy contains the seeds of alchemical transformation through remembering and naming what has been kept silent.
Picture
The father wound exists primarily in silence and absence.

Just as it did in ancient cultures already impacted by the weight of the wounds of masculine consciousness and early colonization.

We aren't supposed to name the father wound.

This is an ingrained function that protects the father and an often deeply wounded sense of self that culture profits from.

It also serves to preserve the structure built from and around the wounding.

It worms its way silently in women's spirituality, sisterhood, codependency, as well as our relationship with money, capacity to discern and trust our gifts.

A woman cannot fully embody her full genius and power without alchemizing the father wound within her heart.

Picture
The father wound is a legacy transmitted through lineage,
received both through Mother and Father.

It is not gender specific but speaks more to a specific quality of consciousness.

Its silence, rupture and impact have caused harm for long enough.

We do not have to do this alchemical work by ourselves.

We are not meant to try to heal the lineage or collective father wound
through our bodies.

We are not meant to take on the chronic healing a wounded culture has conditioned us to believe is necessary.

Each of us has ancient grandfathers who walked in good way with both the masculine and feminine and we can activate them to work on our behalf.

We can call upon the primordial healing energy of the Black Madonna and her embodiment of the holy family that represents both divine union and
the light that is birthed from it.

This is the deepest gift we may be able to give ourselves and our lineages this Father's Day and
you are invited to join me.

In this three-hour ritual masterclass, we will journey through
three distinct layers:

 The Transmission
Through storytelling, we will explore the myth of Medusa in the context of the father wound and examine how this lives within us.

The Map
We will explore the importance of tending to the father wound in the journey of initiation for the feminine, as well as the dimensions of the father wound and qualities of healthy masculine consciousness.

The Journey
We will share in a community ancestral healing ritual tapping into the power of ancient grandfathers and the healing energies of the Black Madonna for personal, lineage and collective restoration, as well as land healing.
